Due to the growth within the UK Property and Casualty Division, a permanent position for a Senior Commercial Account Handler handling Wholesale Commercial business has arisenYour new roleYour new job working as a Senior Commercial Account Handler, handling Wholesale business, will be responsible for negotiating the renewal of UK Property and Casualty accounts, undertaking all aspects in the placing and maintenance of risks from inception to completion..You will be responsible for negotiating the renewal of Commercial accounts ensuring that the agreed renewal retention rate is exceeded ensuring a professional and efficient level of service is maintained. Liaise extensively with the UK Property and Casualty broking team, Retail UK Brokers, sub agents and underwriters on a daily basis. Other duties will include issuing relevant documents.Advise brokers of acceptance/refusal of cover and provide written confirmation of terms and convey instructions and premium to underwriters. Other duties will include requesting relevant information from Underwriters and advise Brokers of acceptance / refuse; of cover. Calculate renewal premiums, and handle any account queries. What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as a Wholesale Account Handler, handling Property and Casualty business will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have experience in dealing with Wholesale business or have London market experience in handling Retail Commercial but would be happy to move into Wholesale. You will have willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products, as well as have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work under pressure and to deadlines when required. You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office Software to include; Word and Excel and have a working knowledge of Insurance Databases
