A fast-growing fintech lender is looking for an experienced Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead credit strategy across portfolios in the UK, EU, and US. This high-impact role combines hands-on analytics, team leadership, and stakeholder influence to drive commercial performance in an embedded finance environment.
THE COMPANY
This is a rapidly scaling embedded finance platform that powers funding for merchants through partnerships with global e-commerce and payments leaders. Operating in several countries, it uses AI-driven credit assessments to deliver fast, flexible capital to SMEs and small businesses.
THE ROLE
As Senior Credit Risk Manager, your day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement credit risk strategies for multiple regions.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit risk analysts.
- Build and optimise underwriting and credit decision frameworks.
- Use SQL and/or Python to drive data-led strategy development.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial results.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years experience in credit risk analytics
- Strong track record of managing high-performing analytics teams.
- Advanced SQL
- Deep understanding of credit risk strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
