Key Responsibilities
- Working across various business areas supporting metrics such as bookings, sales, profit, and cash.
- Support the establishment of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and five-year plan targets.
- Assist the Program Execution Team with Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting.
- Provide financial support for new business proposals, including pricing, foreign exchange management, and risk assessment.
- Serve as the 'financial conscience' of the business, ensuring adherence to Business and Financial Policy.
- Deliver financial insights to support the business risk & opportunities process.
- Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Programme Finance, and Central Finance Services.
- Build a strong network with all Stakeholders.
- Champion best practices and improve systems and processes.
- Support the Finance Manager with financial analysis for investment decisions and pricing.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA preferred or at final strategic level)
- Commercial experience analytical skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Highly organised and self-motivated
Desirable:
- Experience with Project Accounting
- Proficiency in SAP, Cognos, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Security clearance, or willingness to obtain this
