Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join their team and partner with our fundraising function. This is a senior strategic role where you'll be a key member of the senior team providing financial insight and analysis to support their ambitious growth plans.

  • Lead the financial strategy and planning for their £20m fundraising function - partner with the fundraising leadership team to drive growth, identify risks/opportunities and ensure financial sustainability
  • Provide expert financial insight and analysis to support key decision-making - challenge assumptions, model scenarios and present compelling business cases to the executive team
  • Oversee a small team of finance business partners - coach, develop and empower your team to be true strategic advisors to the business
  • Be the financial conscience of the charity - champion effective financial management, robust controls and continuous improvement across the organisation
  • Play a pivotal role on the network leadership team - influence the strategic direction of the charity and ensure finance has a seat at the table

You'll be responsible for around a £20m income stream, managing the budgeting, forecasting and reporting for this critical area. You'll also oversee a small team. The role is largely remote with some travel to Central London required.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to:

  • Have a strong charity background, ideally with 2+ years' experience partnering with fundraising teams.
  • You'll be a fully qualified accountant with the ability to build relationships at a senior level and influence key stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a small team would also be beneficial.
