With a vision for a more sustainable future, they are currently hiring a new senior leader in their finance department to be based in London and the South region.Your new roleThis is a crucial role within the business where you will be responsible for partnering with the senior management team to provide advice and strategic support to improve company performance. Your role will include partnering with the MD, supporting bid teams and overseeing tender financial requirements as well as remaining hands-on and providing data and financial models to the business. You will also be responsible for areas of financial reporting including cashflow management, budgeting and forecasting and providing the group team with year-end audit support. What you'll need to succeedThis role requires a confident and driven senior professional with proven business partnering and commercial finance experience in the construction industry. You will be a qualified Accountant with an ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification and have proven skills in stakeholder manager at the very senior level, working within large and complex organisations as well as experience working at a senior level in finance, such as in a financial controller or finance director capacity. A good understanding of contract and project accounting, including IFRS reporting, with revenue recognition in construction.What you'll get in returnThis is an exciting opportunity which has arisen due to restructuring and will allow you to take ownership of your role with support from a group finance team.
