Butler Rose is working with a large FTSE250 organisation in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Team. This is a six month contract and will pay up to £500 per day. This is a hybrid role (3 days in London office) The Senior Finance Business Partner will report to the Head of Finance and oversee the financial management of a large contract within the Home Office Escorting Services. The role requires expertise in complex financial models and the ability to produce 'what if' scenarios to adapt to fluctuations in operational activities. Working closely with Contract Directors and operational teams, the Senior FBP will ensure strong cost controls across a large workforce and maximise contract profitability and working capital. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Lead and develop a finance team of 5. * Provide high-quality financial reporting and support to Contract Directors. * Oversee month-end financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and ensure compliance with group timetables. * Manage risks and opportunities and accurately account for accrued and deferred income. * Construct and maintain complex financial models to support operational decision-making. * Partner with operational managers for budgeting and forecasting. * Drive financial efficiency and working capital optimisation. * Support contract profitability analysis and ensure adherence to financial governance policies. Education, Experience and skills required: * Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience of working in Facilities management industry* Strong knowledge of finance systems (SAP, TM1, FDW) and advanced Excel skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Experience in partnering with operational teams to improve financial control. * Ability to drive process improvements and enhance financial governance. * Leadership and team development experience.
