Our ClientMackie Myers is partnering with a global affairs think tank based in central London.  The RoleAs the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing financial insight and strategic support to programme managers, ensuring effective financial management and donor compliance. Working closely with a Finance Business Partner, you will oversee half of the organisation’s global programmes, contributing to financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with experience in donor-funded environments to join an influential organisation at the forefront of global policy and development. Main Duties:
  • Act as a key finance partner to programme managers, providing strategic financial insights and analysis.
  • Lead on financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to support effective decision-making.
  • Ensure robust donor compliance, supporting financial management and reporting for donor-funded projects.
  • Prepare and oversee financial reports, ensuring clarity and accessibility for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Support month-end and year-end processes, collaborating with finance teams to maintain accuracy.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, proactively driving process and performance improvements.
  • Mentor and develop the Finance Business Partner, supporting their growth and contribution to the team.
  The Successful Candidate:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a similar finance business partnering role within a non-profit and donor-funded environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  What’s On Offer?
