Key responsibilities include financial planning, reporting, ensuring donor compliance, and mentoring a Finance Business Partner.
The role offers hybrid working with one day a week in the London office and includes a generous benefits package.

The RoleAs the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing financial insight and strategic support to programme managers, ensuring effective financial management and donor compliance. Working closely with a Finance Business Partner, you will oversee half of the organisation’s global programmes, contributing to financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with experience in donor-funded environments to join an influential organisation at the forefront of global policy and development. Main Duties:

Act as a key finance partner to programme managers, providing strategic financial insights and analysis.
Lead on financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to support effective decision-making.
Ensure robust donor compliance, supporting financial management and reporting for donor-funded projects.
Prepare and oversee financial reports, ensuring clarity and accessibility for non-financial stakeholders.
Support month-end and year-end processes, collaborating with finance teams to maintain accuracy.
Identify financial risks and opportunities, proactively driving process and performance improvements.
Mentor and develop the Finance Business Partner, supporting their growth and contribution to the team.

The Successful Candidate:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Experience in a similar finance business partnering role within a non-profit and donor-funded environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
