Your new companyI am working with a fast-growing insurance group offering both insurance and intermediary services. Due to growth, the business is looking for a senior finance manager to join the business in London reporting to the Group Finance Director. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative, fast-paced, growing business with plenty of scope for career progression and development.

Your new roleThis is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the finance function.
  • Preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory reporting and returns.
  • Process improvements and control framework developments.
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide analysis and insights to business leaders
  • Solvency capital reviews and management
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders including actuaries, regulators and auditors.

What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a qualified accountant with proven insurance sector experience with Reinsurance or GI experienced preferred. You will need to have strong reporting skills and be able to take ownership of a wide range of group tasks including reporting, consolidation and regulatory reports. You will need to be a capable leader, able to drive high standards and adapt to a fast-paced, changing business. Exposure to SOX or IFRS 17 would be beneficial but not essential.
