Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a private-equity backed accident management consultancy in the search of a Senior Finance Manager to join the technical team, supporting the Financial Controller across the reporting and audit requirements of the group.

This role will be well-suited for an ACA/ICAEW chartered accountant looking to step into their second or third role post practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to take ownership on the reporting function during a period of growth, partnering with senior leaders on business needs.

Senior Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:

-Preparation of the annual statutory accounts for the Group.

-Preparation of monthly consolidated accounts including supporting with balance sheet reconciliations.

-Responsible for month end close process and management of accounts timetable.

-Investigate and present a conclusion on technical matters, including one off queries, writing papers for the audit process and accounting papers throughout the year.

-Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements and to keep stakeholders up to date on accounting policies and processes.

-Prepare and file VAT returns and other regulatory documents.

-Manage cash flow and ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.

-Prepare weekly, monthly and annual cash flow forecasts for the Group.

-Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

-Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the auditing process, leading on key areas of audit focus and complex accounting/audit matters.

Person Specification:

- ACA qualified (or equivalent).

- Strong audit background from Big 4.

- 8 years of working experience minimum.

- Excellent understanding of UK statutory reporting requirements.

- Ability to work to tight deadlines.

This role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel around London and England required.

The salary is £70,000-£80,000 with competitive benefits.
