A FTSE leading retailer is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its finance function.
Managing 1 direct report, with dotted line to others, you will be responsible for supporting the Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting of the full property cost and capex base.
The role will give financial support to Property Business Partners in supporting the management of their cost budgets, provide key monthly reporting including variance analysis and provide insight to drive commercial decision making regarding spend.
Main duties include:
-Reviewing and understanding business case approvals, assisting with the detailed store estate closure cost model and understanding the adjusted item impact on the store rotation programme.
-Responsible for providing detailed variance analysis versus Budget, Forecast and last year on a monthly basis.
-Responsible for budget co-ordination and ensuring timelines and critical path are met.
-Responsible for building robust finance plans on a periodic basis ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned in the process
-Store estates accounting
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified either looking for your first move from practice, or in a reporting or business partnering role. Any exposure to retail and property would be desirable.
