We are currently partnering with a prestigious Arts Institution, based in London, who are recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with opportunity for extension dependent on business needs.

The position is due to start immediately and will be a full-time position with hybrid working(Wednesdays and Fridays at home)with a salary of £46,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or be Qualified by Experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Undertake account reconciliations, payment run authorisation and banking
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
  • Work with Finance team to produce accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Management Accounts
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements (such as MGETR, VAT, Gift Aid and Charity SORP)
  • Monitor and control the organisation’s financial performance against agreed budgets
  • Provide analysis and recommend corrective actions as necessary
  • Manage cash flow, forecasting and treasury functions to ensure liquidity and risk management

Experience required:

  • At least five to seven years of working in finance or accountancy
  • Experience using accountancy packages Sage, QuickBooks, or similar
  • Advanced Excel skills

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise required:

  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Expertise in the implementation and improvement of finance or accounting systems

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Hybrid working: On-site three days per week, Monday-Tuesday and Thursday

Working hours:

  • 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
