Cedar is currently partnered with a Global Financial Services business to help them secure an Interim Senior FP&A Manager. The role is to support the Director of FP&A and would be based in their office in The City. The role is a 12-month initial contract, paying between £90-110K per annum.

The Role

As Interim Senior FP&A Manager you will shape financial strategy by delivering critical analysis, enhancing FP&A processes, and preparing high-quality reporting for stakeholders, investors, and board members. You'll be at the centre of decision-making, streamlining data-driven processes and leading initiatives to boost reporting accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate closely with business, control, and support teams to provide accurate, insightful financial analysis for management reporting and external disclosures
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret key data to identify performance drivers and metrics essential for corporate planning
  • Lead enhancements in management reporting processes, optimising data use for clarity and precision
  • Spearhead FP&A reporting development, aligning with standards of a listed environment and ensuring regulatory compliance for investor and stakeholder metrics
  • Clearly communicate financial performance, forecasts, and insights, supporting key decisions and investor relations
  • Work alongside the FP&A Director to deliver high-quality, data-driven board pack reports with strategic insights and updates
  • Support the annual forecasting and budgeting cycle, gathering input and refining projections to align with business goals
  • Drive improvements in FP&A processes, implementing advanced tools and practices for efficiency and accuracy in reporting

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

  • A formal Accountancy Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CA, etc).
  • Experience within an acquisitive, fast-growth environment
  • Experience gained within a large, complex environment.
  • Experience dealing with multiple robust internal and external stakeholders.
  • The salary of £90-110K represents either a logical increase in your earnings or a similar level to your previous experience.
  • Prior experience within a Financial Services business is useful.
