HFG are working with a global Insurance Broker who have show significant organic growth over the past few years. As such, they want to enhance their finance operations and are looking for hire some experienced insurance professionals into the IBA function. This is an excellent opportunity to help the team evolve and modernise by embracing change and technology, as well as adding a background of team leadership and mentoring.

The team is responsible for all aspects of cash processing for UK & Europe operations, including the collection of monies for clients, payments to insurers, claims payments and the related treasury function. The team is increasing rapidly and is in excess of 50 full time employees.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Extensive IBA knowledge essential
  • London Market knowledge including good working knowledge of end to end processes and latest market initiatives
  • FCA CASS 5 rules knowledge and general all round knowledge of the Fiduciary environment
  • Strong analytical & process mapping skills
  • Diverse knowledge of different broking sectors and their IBA functional support requirements
  • Change management skills, working with internal & external business partners
  • Strong communication skills, verbal & written
  • Ability to represent the department at senior group meetings and ensure all IBA / Fiduciary relate matters are considered
  • Ability to work with peers across the business to ensure divisional support is fit for purpose, review process efficiencies and highlight areas for improvement using key Management Information
  • Work closely with Head of IBA & CFO to ensure departments KPIs and objectives are on track and aligned to wider business goals
