GPN are thrilled to partner with a prestigious accountancy firm in London, known for its specialisation in the music industry, providing bespoke financial services to musicians, record labels, and other entertainment entities. Celebrated for its deep industry expertise and personalised client service, the firm is committed to excellence and innovation.As the firm experiences growth, they are seeking a Senior Manager for their Business Management Unit to join their team on a permanent basis, focusing on client liaison and team management.The role itself will include:
  • Client Liaison:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while understanding their specific needs and goals.
    • Deliver strategic financial advice tailored to the music industry, covering areas like cash flow management, tax planning, and royalty tracking.
    • Promptly address client queries to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead a team of accountants and business management professionals, offering mentorship and development support.
    • Oversee team workflows to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery and compliance with accounting standards.
    • Facilitate regular team meetings to enhance communication and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Leadership:
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
    • Work collaboratively with partners to discover and pursue new business opportunities with industry insights and client feedback.
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Business Development:
    • Contribute to firm growth by identifying opportunities to expand services to existing clients and attract new clients.
    • Engage in networking events and industry functions to boost the firm's visibility and credibility within the music sector.
To be considered for the role you will:
  • Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with extensive experience in practice
  • Have proven expertise in managing client relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with a history of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and build trust with clients and team members.
  • Understand the financial landscape of the music industry, including contracts, royalties, tax considerations and more
