Personal Tax - Senior Manager - Award winning mid-tier practice

£80,000 plus excellent benefits

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Personal Tax Senior Manager to join their vibrant and rapidly growing tax team. They are an award-winning, London based, top 100 firm of accountants led by an ambitious partner group who have demonstrated that rapid career development is achievable for high performers.

Your experience

You will either currently be a manager looking for a new challenge and looking to work with a firm that can match your ambitions. ATT/ CTA qualified is desirable. You must be currently a tax professional in a client facing role with at least five+ years' experience dealing with complex compliance and advisory projects and leading tax teams.

The role

You will have your own portfolio of clients as well as providing assistance with the oversight of the personal tax compliance function and liaising with our outsourcing team. The role will offer a varied range of advisory work, so previous exposure to advisory projects is desirable.

This is very much a client facing role which will involve a lot of client interaction so strong communication and client relationship skills are a must.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates
  • Working on individual clients including entrepreneurs, city financiers and those with international tax issues.
  • Provide assistance to the PC director and partner group on advisory work, which could include:o Inheritance taxo Use of trustso Capital gains tax planningo EIS/SEIS schemeso Property taxeso Enquiry worko Residence and non-domicile planningo Profits extractions
