Reed Practice are representing a  respected accountancy practice on the search for a Senior Accounts Manager to specialise in audit and accounts compliance. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with extensive audit experience.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead and manage their accounting and audit practice, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Innovate and implement policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting and auditing.
  • Oversee financial reporting and statutory returns, focusing on accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle audit planning, execution, and review, ensuring thorough risk assessment and strategy implementation.
  • Act as the primary contact for audit clients, providing strategic advice and managing relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • ACCA or ACA qualification.
  • Significant experience in compliance and audit management within an accountancy firm.
  • Strong background in internal and external audits, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Excellent IT skills, proficient in accounting software like Iris, Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
