Alderley Park Recruitment are currently recruiting a Senior Manager Finance Transformation Consultant for our notable Transformation client based in London. The role is permanent, hybrid working model and is paying a salary of £90,000 - £100,000 per annum DOE.

As a Senior Manager Finance Transformation Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting clients through the deployment of new technology. This role is a blend of stakeholder and project management, solution and process design and change management with a focus on supporting Finance teams and the wider business through their transformation journey.

Description of role:

  • Advising clients on Finance service design and changing operating models that result from the deployment of technology and automation.
  • Supporting clients with a case for change, defining where there are opportunities to make changes and how these can be translated into a roadmap and action plan.
  • Providing support and expertise with Finance service design, operating models and capability.
  • Providing expertise to clients regarding the deployment of finance technology solutions, from both a functional, organisational and change perspective.
  • Supporting clients to design technology and automation solutions, including facilitation of design principles.
  • Mapping and documenting Finance processes.
  • Working with clients to identify and resolve any risks and issues arising from the deployment of technology solutions.
  • Working with technical teams to ensure the technical solution is built as per the design and meets the requirements of the business.
  • Working with the business to define and embed new ways of working.
  • Working on internal process improvement projects as part of the Veran Finance Community

Role requirements:

Essential

  • Financial Qualifications, ideally ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience of leading Finance transformation
  • Has experience setting up a finance shared service centre
  • Works with CFOs on a regular basis
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong sales acumen - track record of assisting with new business or bringing clients on board
  • Has used S/4 HANA or implemented S/4 HANA
  • Proactive, independent and self-starter
