Operations Associate - Transaction Reporting

Leading UK Investment & Wealth Management Organisation

£50,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Package and Bonus

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with proven Operations and Transaction reporting experience gained from within a similar wealth/investment company. Reporting to the Operations Team Lead, you will play a key operational and regulatory role within the operations team. This will include:

  • Maintaining the firm’s Investment Management systems with responsibility for data management, including client data, static data, custodian data, transactions, pricing feeds, currency data and indices data.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Transaction Reporting and Regulatory Reporting within the team.
  • Trade order reconciliations, cash and stock including resolution of exceptions and working with the trading team and custodians to ensure trade confirmation and settlement.
  • Corporate Actions administration
  • Maintenance of compliance registers, including registers for Financial Promotions, UCIS promotion, client categorization and high risk clients
  • Work closely with the compliance team to complete regulatory returns to FCA, SEC and support on AML and reporting issues.
  • Completion of MiFID II transaction reporting and weekly, monthly 3-way reconciliations
  • Produce periodic client reports, and periodic MI reporting from internal and custodian platforms, including AUM’s, cash balances etc.
  • Onboarding of new custodians and third parties

To be successful in this role, you should have experience of the following:

  • Proven Operational background, gained from within a similar Investment or Wealth Management environment.
  • At least 4 years transaction reporting experience gained from within an operational environment.
  • Experience of regulatory reporting in particular working within COBS and SYSC.
  • Strong working knowledge of cash/stock reconciliations and corporate actions.
  • Experience or Tercero or CRM would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
