Sonic Summary

info
  • The company is seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager to lead their Accountancy sector and increase the number of Accountants using their FinTech platform.

  • The role offers a competitive salary, although the exact figure is not specified in the job description.
  • The position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently in a rapidly growing and scale-up environment.
  • The company promotes a supportive culture with accessible management and a collaborative marketing team, and the role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the London office.

We are looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager to join a growing FinTech that helps businesses and individuals manage their cash across multiple savings accounts, over a platform that simplifies the process of managing, tracking, and moving cash while offering competitive interest rates across multiple banking partners.

They've been in operation for 7 years and are exclusively owned by their 2 Co-Founders. They have grown by 44 people and increased revenue by over 20% in less than a year, and are in a very profitable state.

They have established Sales teams in place to cover a variety of different markets including Corporate, Not-for-profit, NBFIs, SMEs and Financial Advisors, so there is an excellent existing support network in place. They have 34% of the UK Financial Advisor market signed up with them, and as they share a lot correlation with the Accountancy space, they are now looking for somebody to lead their Accountancy sector.

This is a crucial role in terms of company next steps, and they can see this bringing in a lot of revenue for the wider business. So far they have onboarded 42 Accountancy Firms and they attended the Accountex Conference in May where they were very well received and gained a lot of qualified leads.

Your objective will be to increase the number of Accountants that are signed up and trading on the platform. It's a good sell as they offer reduced risk, better rates, and increased return, and these Accountants are able to take a fee share for themselves too. The platform has received great feedback from their current clients, so you will be able to present numerous Case Studies from similar industries.

Currently they are working with smaller companies with 5-10 Accountants, but are looking for somebody to help them break into mid-large size firms.

They don't expect overnight success, and initially your success will be measured by your sales activity and outreach and the pipeline you build. This is not a micro managing company though, so your call stats won't be tracked. Your results should speak for itself. They have an excellent Marketing team in place that you will work closely with to build a strategy and gain qualified leads, as well as sales support from 2 BDEs. They use HubSpot and Sales Navigator, but are always open to using new Sales tools if you had any recommendations.

It's a great time to join as they are growing rapidly, but they are still in scale-up mode so this person will need to understand what it's like to work in such an environment and be able to work very independently and use their own initiative. The product is thriving and has been exceptionally well received, however you will need to be able to work well within a company that has been claimed to be 'the highest growing FinTech company that nobody has heard of.'

Company culture is great! The Co-Founders are extremely down to earth, and the Management team sit alongside everybody else in the office and are always available to offer support and guidance.

This is hybrid role working ideally 3 days a week from their London office.
