CMC Markets are hiring a Senior Project Manager!

Role and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Head of Business Functions, Global Head of Delivery and Programme Manager to deliver end-to-end strategic business projects requiring coordination from numerous business areas to achieve a common business objective
- Key focus on Data Platform & Technology Transformation Portfolio
- Proactively manage risks and issues and agree suitable mitigation or corrective actions as needed
- Proactively manage project dependencies to ensure the overall project timeline remains on track
- Identify gaps or overlaps in projects and negotiate scope adjustments not only with the corresponding project managers but also with executives and sponsors.
- Identify gaps in business processes and suggest correction strategies
- Resource planning and forecasting
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels especially the executive level
- Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training
- When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
- Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
Key Skills and Experience
- Must be an experienced Project Manager with track record of managing multi - disciplined complex projects
- Must have experience in Data Platforms & Technology Projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience in working in regulated environments
- Proactive in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
- Advanced communication, problem solving, negotiation, conflict resolution skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks large and small
- Attention to details
- Flexible and adaptable approach to change
- Good understanding of project management methodologies
- Must have previous experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager
