Senior Structured Finance Associate (4-6+ PQE)

Location: City of London Department: Capital Markets Estimated Salary Range: £160,000 - £200,000 (plus bonus)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior associate to join our cleints market-leading Capital Markets practice in the City of London. This senior position offers the opportunity to lead complex structured finance transactions and play a key role in practice development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex structured finance transactions including CLOs, ABS, RMBS, and CMBS
  • Structure and execute sophisticated capital relief transactions and insurance-linked products
  • Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents independently
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and trainees
  • Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact
  • Contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives
  • Provide strategic advice on complex legal and commercial issues
Required Qualifications
  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 4-6+ years PQE
  • Substantial experience in structured finance transactions
  • Proven expertise in CLOs, ABS, RMBS, CMBS, or similar products
  • Strong understanding of warehouse financing and repackaging transactions
  • Outstanding academic credentials from leading institutions
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills
