A highly acquisitive international insurance group are looking for an ambitious Senior Tax Manager to oversee their UK tax reporting, advisory & compliance matters.
The firm has a very dynamic and fast-paced environment with extensive exposure across senior management, they are looking for someone to take responsibility for the function with a heavy emphasis on the advisory element and lead the way from the get-go.
Responsibilities:
- Providing advice and support on a wide range of treasury, M&A and capital contributions tax matters.
- Supporting the Head of Tax in any UK tax restructuring projects.
- Responsible for quarterly IFRS group tax reporting.
- Acting as technical lead for any treasury (hedge accounting) related matters
- Supporting the Head of Tax in the delivery of UK tax reporting to Senior Management.
Qualifications:
- Accountancy and/or Tax Qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA etc.).
- Tax advisory, ideally linked to treasury tax.
- IFRS tax accounting.
- Prior experience working in a FS organisation.
