Job Purpose
- Lead a significant corporate tax portfolio, overseeing deliverables and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Manage compliance work for LLPs and Groups.
- Work closely with Tax Partners to support their client portfolios.
- Review tax computations, providing valued input.
- Review and submit tax accounting schedules.
- Deliver tax advisory to a variety of clients, providing sound technical knowledge.
- Oversee the deliverables of junior tax staff, providing constructive mentorship and nurturing talent through knowledge sharing.
- Champion professional development for junior staff, inspiring the team around you.
- Work closely with Partners to support the firm’s strategic direction, networking and scoping for new business opportunities.
- Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.
- Set an example as a natural leader.

The Successful Applicant
- CTA qualified with a minimum of five years' post qualification experience.
- Previous experience overseeing a team, delegating working and mentoring staff.
- International tax knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- Sound working knowledge of technical tax matters.
- An up-to-date understanding of UK accounting standards.
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge, and experience with Alphatax is desirable.
- Natural leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to lead a team with effective project management.
