Job Purpose
  • Oversee a diverse client portfolio, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Oversee the provision of corporate tax services, including tax planning and WIP management
  • Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries quickly and effectively
  • Assist junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training
  • Support Partners and Directors by undertaking ad-hoc work where needed
  • Interpret changes to taxation legislation and provide trusted advisory to clients and colleagues
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities
  • Support business development strategies, actively seeking out opportunities, and assisting with marketing initiatives

The Successful Applicant
  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, or equivalent
  • Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered
  • A proven track record of managing a portfolio
  • Excellent understanding of annual corporation tax reporting requirements
  • A broad knowledge across taxation
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong mentorship and leadership skills to aid the development of junior staff
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
