Description

  • Prepare and issue accurate service charge budgets.
  • Manage the year-end service charge reconciliation process.
  • Interpret lease agreements to ensure correct service charge application.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering queries from residents regarding service charges.
  • Support the wider Accounting & Finance team as necessary.

Profile

A successful Service Charge Officer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with finance systems.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • An understanding of service charge legislation and leasehold management.
