Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of a key contract. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing in-unit bookkeeping systems, including processing and querying daily purchase invoices and credit notes, daily revenue reconciliation, cash office balancing, stock transfer calculations, waste report calculations, and closing weekly accounting periods.
  • Submitting weekly paperwork to the central office.
  • Maintaining accrual-specific documents such as free issue, beverages, agency, and vending.
  • Delivering monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting suites for a Cost-Plus contract.
  • Handling client stock reconciliation and reporting, as well as client-specific analytical reports.
  • Preparing and posting monthly accruals and journals.
  • Revising and submitting the Profit & Loss statements.
  • Issuing monthly client invoices with supporting documentation.
  • Managing quarterly client reporting.
  • Overseeing budgeting and balance sheet reconciliation for both the client and the company.
  • Managing weekly payroll.

Qualifications

  • Management accounting experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with and analyse large data sets.
  • Experience in a multi-site retail business, specifically within a food service or catering environment, is essential.
  • A motivated self-starter with an inquisitive and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in both formal and informal settings.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset.
