Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Finance Manager for a rapidly growing e-commerce business based in Shoreditch paying £50-£60k dependent on experience.
This is the first hire in the finance space, so they’ll have to be independent and excited to challenge themselves with new scenarios.Responsibilities
- Full control over monthly management accounts
- Analysis of P&Ls, margins, and variance
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliation
- Accruals, prepayments, and depreciation journals
- Cash flow forecasting
- Budget implementation
- VAT returns
- Working with external accountants (on the statutory accounts) and outsourced payroll team
- Business partnering with other departments
- Ownership of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Expenses processing
Candidates must have:
- Experience within e-commerce in a small business
- Capable of taking control of all aspects of transactional finance independently
- Experience with Xero is preferable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ideally qualified, be studying CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience
