Strategic Finance Associate | Rapid Growth Technology Scale-up

The Client:Harmonic is partnered with a mission-driven technology scale-up in their search for a Strategic Finance Associate to join their team in London. The business operates at the intersection of tech and transport transforming global mobility for millions worldwide every year. With over $1 billion in funding raised to date from prominent VCs, the business has experienced continued international expansion in recent years paving the way for a potential IPO or significant exit in the future. You'll be joining a high-calibre team working on complex, meaningful challenges, with a strong focus on data-led strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. With regular team socials and activities, they fostered a strong culture where employees feel respected and valued. This role is London based with a flexible approach to hybrid working (typically 2-3 days in office but no set days).

The Role:As the Strategic Finance Associate, you will play a critical role in leading FP&A, operational and strategic finance activities to create long term value for the business. You'll have the chance to own critical workstreams from start to finish, collaborate closely with senior leaders in the business and work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales and Product teams to manage risks and identify opportunities for the business.

Responsibilities:* Lead evaluation of key business initiatives, including operational improvements, new product development, pricing and revenue strategies, strategic partnerships, market entry, and more.* Interpret core operational performance indicators, growth trends, and competitive positioning to develop strategic recommendations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.* Work cross-functionally with Operations, Growth, Data, and Partnerships teams to support the effective rollout of initiatives and process enhancements across the organisation.* Provide senior leadership with in-depth visibility into partner network performance by developing reporting processes that deliver commercial, product, financial, and operational insights.* Collaborate closely with the CFO, CRO, COO, and leaders across Sales, Partner Success, and Operations to shape and execute the company's revenue and commercial strategy.

What we need to see (Essential):* 2-5 years' experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance in a high growth startup/scale-up or a background in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Service or Corporate Finance* Ability to manage, influence and present to key stakeholders including C-level executives* Passionate about financial planning, structure and insights.* Strong financial modelling skills* Strong academic background and intelligent individual

What we would like to see (Bonus):* Experience managing large data sets in tools such as Tableu, Power BI or SQL
