Strategic Finance Manager

London (Hybrid working)

3 Month Contract

£500 Per Day (Outside IR35)

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment on a Strategic Finance Manager on an initial 3 month basis.

This is an exciting role within the Strategic Finance function, working closely with teams across the business to influence decision making and shape the future direction of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Strategic Finance team and key stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive capital allocation strategies.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment (ROI) assessments, and scenario planning to guide decision-making across existing and new initiatives.
  • Work closely with FP&A and Financial Control peers in the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts and business partnering.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of allocated capital, providing insights, reporting and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support and challenge stakeholders across all levels, to make the best capital allocation decisions, acting as a key advisor and partner.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with capital investments.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a commercial finance role at high growth business.
  • Investment banking or consulting experience.
  • Highly data literate, comfortable augmenting and interpreting large unstructured data sets.
  • Advanced user of Office applications; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills.
  • Comfortable identifying priorities and setting your own agenda/
  • Comfortable taking personal responsibility with the ability to work across multiple priorities
  • Delivery focused with hyper attention to detail.
  • Strong people skills and a flare for building and maintaining trust and relationships.
