Our client, a household brand name and highly sought after employer of choice, with one of the best reputations in London for talent retention and development, has a rare and exciting need, for a top calibre and dynamic Strategy Finance Manager.This is a key and visible role, partnering with the Strategy team of a FTSE listed organisation, focusing on value creation and strengthening of performance. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Strategy Finance to business partner the Director of Strategy, utilising financial modelling skills, with strong technical and analytical capabilities.Main duties include:* Providing financial analysis and insight in relation to the development of robust financial models for new initiative to support high-quality business cases* Understanding and assessing the commercial rationale for new ventures* Tracking and reporting on performance of new initiatives* Presenting financial information, clearly communicating risks* Budgeting, forecasting and reporting for project spend* Building and maintaining strong relationships* Delivering robust financial analysis and insight to aid key strategic decision making* Acting as integral part of strategy project teamsKey skills & experience required:* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified* Demonstrable commercial experience, ideally gleaned within FMCG or Retail, or with prior strategy/M&A/Transactions Services experience from Big 4/Consulting* Strong excel and good level of financial modelling* Comfortable building relationships with senior stakeholders, ability to challenge and influence when necessary* Capable of working within an evolving environment, adapting the change well* Effective and credible communicator* High level of curiosity and willingness to proactively investigate new ideas* Ambitious and self-motivated character, able to work on own initiative and consistently looking to achieve high standardsThis is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute and talented individual to join this innovative area of finance, working with some of the most impressive minds in the corporate space.
