Your new roleThis bank is seeking to hire a Structured Finance responsible for managing, leading, coordinating, and developing structured lending and syndication activities within the UK & EMEA region. The successful candidate will be focused on analysing and reviewing existing structured finance transactions, particularly in the renewable and infrastructure sectors. Your role will involve monitoring the structured finance business, identifying additional opportunities, and supporting the strategic and business objectives of the EMEA Centre. This is a full-time, permanent position.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in applying for the position of Project Finance / Structured Finance, you will need to have the following:

  • Prepare concise business review reports and identify key credit risks.
  • Lead and complete the internal credit process in accordance with the organization's policies and requirements.
  • Analyse the strengths and weaknesses of projects/structures, considering technology, commercial contracts, regulatory and legal contexts, and involved counterparties.
  • Develop and review complex structured finance models, including key ratios and concepts.
  • Conduct regular market and industry research to manage risk appetite and credit policies.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal departments, international branches, and external professionals to prepare, negotiate, and execute financial documentation, ensuring the organization's interests are protected.
  • Maintain and manage ongoing relationships with clients and branches to maximise overall returns.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell other products to existing clients, with a focus on developing deposit, interest rate swap (IRS), and foreign exchange (FX) businesses.
  • Support structured finance business activities across the EMEA region.
