About the Role
The Ledger Specialist will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the Subcontract Ledger, including the order, payment, and CIS compliance processes. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Subcontract Ledger Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of the Subcontract Ledger, ensuring orders and payments are processed accurately and promptly.
- CIS Compliance: Ensure full compliance with CIS regulations, including accurate tax calculations and timely payments to HMRC.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries and providing necessary support.
- Analyse and solve subcontract issues quickly
Requirements
- Education: GCSEs in Maths (essential) and AAT or further education (desirable).
- Experience: Previous experience in a finance environment (essential) and knowledge of construction contracts (desirable).
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (essential) and excellent communication skills (essential).
