Job Purpose

  • Manage a tax portfolio including all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
  • Undertake income tax assignments, including NI
  • Undertake capital gains tax, including review of PAYE code notices.
  • Review and submission of self assessment returns prepared by junior staff.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and resolving complex issues.
  • Support Directors with advisory work, including preparing reports on IHT planning, residence, UK trusts, business structures etc.
  • Attending meetings with existing and prospective clients, preparing documents, setting budgets, and ensuring service delivery meets deadlines and budgets.
  • Liaise with HMRC in relation to s9A and prepare disclosure for enquiries.
  • Represent the firm at networking events.
  • Champion professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities.
