Job Title: Tax Manager (FTC, 6-9 months, Immediate Start)Location: London

We are urgently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team on a 6-9 month Fixed-Term Contract with an immediate start. This role is essential to support our growing business, particularly in the oil and gas sector, offering an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of tax responsibilities with international exposure. The role requires 4 days per week on-site to closely collaborate with the team and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive tax support across the business, ensuring queries are handled effectively and identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk management.
  • Offer expert tax advice on key business transactions and investment decisions.
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, Corporate Interest Restriction returns, and other corporate tax provisions.
  • Lead the preparation and compliance with Domestic and Multinational Top-Up taxes (OECD BEPS).
  • Support the international business units and projects with tax compliance and advisory functions.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of tax functionality in systems such as SAP, focusing on gas, oil, power, and LNG operations.
  • Collaborate with HR on employment tax matters as needed.
  • Manage relationships with global tax authorities and external advisors.
Requirements:
  • Professional tax qualifications (ACA, CA, ACCA, CTA) are essential.
  • Extensive experience in the oil and gas sector is required.
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation, including compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
  • Experience managing tax functionality within ERP systems, especially SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle large data sets and ensure accurate tax compliance reporting.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities flexibly.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders across different levels of the business.
