Role Responsibilities- Reporting directly to and working closely with the partners on corporate tax compliance and advisory matters
- Reviewing corporate tax and LLP partnership tax returns across various industries, ensuring timely completion
- Managing a portfolio of large Non-Resident Corporate Landlords, including capital allowance claims and reviewing tax consequences of leasing transactions
- Preparing complex tax returns and assessing the impact of legislative changes (e.g. Corporate Interest Restriction rules, Non-Resident landlord rules)
- Undertaking tax due diligence projects for clients and managing R&D claims
- Overseeing quarterly instalment payment (QIPs) deadlines
- Liaising with HMRC on tax enquiries and attending client meetings
- Actively involved in new business development, identifying tax planning opportunities, and drafting proposals for clients
- Managing staff development, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Contributing to marketing strategies, including writing articles for the website and client communications
- Using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and the CCH software suite

- Strong corporate tax compliance and advisory experience, ideally from a mid to top-tier accountancy firm
- Experience with complex tax returns, Non-Resident Corporate Landlords, and tax legislation changes
- Proven track record in portfolio management, client relationships, and tax planning
- Ability to manage and develop junior staff through active mentoring
- Experience using CCH software suite (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
