Personal Tax Manager required.

Our client are a leading top 40 firm of accountants and financial advisers, who are seeking a qualified Private Client Tax Manager in Central London area. The successful Tax Manager will be ideally CTA qualified with at least 3 years' experience post qualification.

The Personal Tax Manager will be tasked with directly supporting the Tax Partner and tax seniors who look after HNWI, self assessment, Non Doms within the designated portfolio. This role is highly progressive with the view to Partnership within a few years.

Private Client Tax Manager Job Overview

The successful Tax Manager will be joining an established tax team with responsibilities including:

  • Manage own portfolio of HNWI'S, Non Doms, Sole traders & Partnerships alongside allocating work and monitoring resource requirements.
  • Assisting partners on the delivery of advisory work which will include the preparation of reports on matters such as IHT planning (including UK trusts), residence, pre-arrival planning, offshore structures (involving offshore trusts and companies) and planning work in anticipation of the new rules for non-doms
  • Preparation and attendance at both existing and potential new client meetings, setting budgets for the follow up work, and ensuring the work is carried out in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Liaising with clients on routine and ad-hoc assignments including correspondence by email, telephone and face to face meetings. Matters to include inheritance tax, income tax and capital gains tax.
  • Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and filing
Private Client Tax Manager Job Requirements
  • CTA qualified
  • Within a reasonable commute to Central London
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience with personal tax work within a practice.
  • Competent in completing corporate tax work.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence with own vehicle.
