We are looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to join one of our technology clients' friendly and dynamic team, which is based in London, with only 2 days required in the office.

Reporting to the Tax Director, you will be primarily responsible for Indirect Tax advisory, but also ensuring that you meet your tax compliance and reporting obligations in a timely manner, and provide expertise for all indirect tax matters across the business across multiple countries.

What you will be doing

  • Provide expertise and oversight of all indirect tax matters across your regions.
  • Lead tax authority audits and inquiries regarding indirect tax, including managing the relationship with local tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Partner with the tax technology team to drive transformation projects and ERP implementations and ensure continued process optimisation and efficiencies.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, building strong cross-functional relationships and operating as a business partner to enable new business initiatives and manage risks and opportunities as they may arise.
  • Identify and evaluate issues, efficiencies, and opportunities related to indirect taxes.
  • Promote indirect tax awareness and knowledge within the business.

What we need from you

  • Significant and relevant indirect tax experience preferably with a practice background, but not essential.
  • Indirect tax knowledge with a broad EMEA scope, including understanding of international technical topics and the interaction between local statutory filings and tax returns.
  • Experience with improving, automating, and implementing tax processes and workflows.
  • Team player who is willing and able to perform tasks at all levels and enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment.
