Ruby Group are seeking a technical Accounting Manager to join one of the UK’s largest independent insurance brokers with a global reach with over 150 office locations, and a workforce of almost 12000 people. This role is pivotal in addressing complex accounting issues across the entire group and specific segments. Reporting into the Director, with key internal relationships working closely with the Financial Reporting, tax and Group finance teams, your responsibilities will be.

Manage revenue recognition, hedge accounting, share-based payments, and lease accounting. Oversee accounting for acquisitions, disposals, and goodwill impairment. Transition subsidiaries from FRS 102 to FRS 101, review financial statements and update accounting policy manuals.

The Ideal applicant will have an ACA/CA qualification with at least two years post qualified experience. Excellent IFRS technical accounting and policy experience is essential. FRS 102/ FRS 101 is advantageous. You must have advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. This is remote working role with occasional trips to London, our clients offer a bonus with excellent benefits.
