About the Role

As a Technical Advisory Assistant Manager or Manager, you will work closely with partners and teams across the firm, tackling complex audit and regulatory matters. The role combines technical reviews, training, and guidance, giving you exposure to a broad range of technical and compliance issues while supporting the firm's commitment to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing audit reports for listed and regulated entities to ensure compliance with ISAs, company legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Researching and responding to technical audit queries from partners and staff.
  • Supporting and advising on the firm's audit methodology and electronic working paper system.
  • Updating and maintaining the firm's audit manual, methodology, and templates to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Delivering training sessions on audit methodology, new standards, and regulatory developments.
  • Developing and issuing technical guidance, papers, and materials for use across the firm.
  • Attending external regulatory events and network meetings to stay ahead of developments.

Who This Role Suits

This role is ideal for a qualified auditor with:

  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
