The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager on a temporary basis to support our team through a period of transition. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented finance professional who is capable of handling the entire accounting function from top to bottom, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee all aspects of the accounting cycle, including month-end close, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts; assist with variance analysis and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow requirements, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational and strategic activities.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Project Work: Support the implementation of new financial systems or improvements, and assist with ad hoc projects as required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably within a private equity or investment management environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent designation preferred.
  • Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
