Transition Manager - Finance Transformation

Our Global client is seeking an experienced Transition Manager to lead the transformation of the finance function. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth transition of processes, systems and responsibilities, whilst also driving strategic initiatives to transform the finance function for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive transition plan outlining activities, timelines and resources required.
  • Lead the execution of the transition plan, ensuring a successful delivery within agreed timelines and budget.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies.
  • Collaborate with process owners to identify opportunities for process optimisation and standardisation.
  • Partner with IT and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions to support the transition and transformation objectives.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the progress and effectiveness of transition and transformation activities.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into performance against targets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Sound understanding of finance processes, systems and best practices, with a focus on process optimisation and automation.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies and tools, with the ability to drive cultural change.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation, continuous improvement, and value creation for the business.

Please note - This is an initial 12 month contract, paid on a daily rate inside IR35, with the expectation of 1-2 days per week working in the London office.
