This is a brand newly created opportunity to join their London based team and lead ongoing treasury management activities as a unique, specialist high profile project
Reporting directly to a key Head of Finance , this a broad and pivotal opportunity which will offer huge exposure to working directly with senior leadership across an international group and support on going strategic business initiatives .
As Treasury Manager within a multi-billion £ turnover business, you will play a critical role in managing the company's financial resources, with a specific focus on complex project financing and the use of hedging instruments to mitigate financial risks.
Key responsibilities will cover the following areas:
- Lead the execution of complex project financing and contribute to the structuring of future financing projects.
- Conduct detailed financial modelling and risk analysis to support project financing decisions
- Implement hedging strategies to manage the company's exposure to interest rate, foreign exchange, commodity price, and other financial risks.
- Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management, providing insights into the performance of hedging strategies
- Manage the company's liquidity to ensure adequate funding for ongoing operations and strategic initiatives, including large-scale projects.
- Optimize cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and short-term investment strategies.:
- Provide strategic input into the company's financial planning and analysis activities, particularly in relation to capital structure, financing strategies, and risk management.
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modelling, and the evaluation of financing options.
- Participate in strategic discussions with senior management to offer ongoing insights and recommendations.
As the role continues to develop over time you will also play a key role in recruiting and manage a small team
We are seeking top talent - this is a undoubtedly a high profile role within the group and will require a bright individual who is driven and possesses proven track record of success to date, within the treasury field specifically
A strong academic record as well as ACT qualification is essential
Previous experience in project financing is essential as well as financial modelling
Strong systems skills are also highly sought after here - experience of working with SAP is highly sought after but definitely not essential
We are looking for confident communicators - those who possess the gravitas to push back where appropriate and hold their own with senior management and directors across the UK and wider international business
Treasury experience gained within the oil and gas , mining, commodities, construction industries would be ideal however we are happy to hear from high flying treasury managers from across all industries
