A London based firm specialising in Private Client Services with a focus on wealth preservation, legal, tax, and fiduciary solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families are seeking a Trust Manager to join their expanding team. The role has been created due to organic growth which the firm has experienced year on year.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career or a Manager who is seeking a new challenge with progression available.

As a Trust Manager you will:

  • Oversee a portfolio of trusts, ensuring all compliance, reporting, and advisory obligations are met.
  • Provide proactive advice on trust and inheritance tax planning, to clients, trustees and beneficiaries.
  • Review and approve complex trust accounts, trust and personal tax computations including CGT calculations.
  • Provide specialist advice on inheritance tax planning, trust structuring, and investment strategies.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, encouraging and supporting their professional development.
  • Review the work of junior staff, providing constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
  • Act as a technical resource within the team, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Identify opportunities for new business within the existing client base and support in developing proposals for potential clients, specifically the establishment of Trusts.

Your Experience

  • STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates or equivalent industry recognised qualification.
  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of trust clients in a professional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of personal tax, trust tax, inheritance tax, and related regulations.
  • Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while managing competing priorities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a commitment to maintaining and enhancing industry knowledge.
