We are seeking an experienced Trust Tax Manager to provide expert guidance to professional trustees and beneficiaries, primarily within UK family trust structures. While the main focus is UK taxation, familiarity with international tax matters would be advantageous.
In this role, you will be the key point of contact, maintaining strong connections with stakeholders, advising trustees on fund distribution, forecasting financials, coordinating with investment professionals, and overseeing trust administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a strategic approach to risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Advisory & Planning - Support trustees with fund distributions and provide financial projections for trust income and expenses.
Stakeholder Engagement - Act as the main liaison for trustees, beneficiaries, and investment specialists, ensuring seamless communication.
Technical Proficiency - Apply extensive knowledge of UK trust taxation and legislation to deliver tailored advice.
Regulatory Compliance - Review trust accounts, tax filings, and legal registers, ensuring adherence to regulations while managing charitable trust administration.
What You Bring
CTA / ACA / STEP accreditation (or equivalent qualification).Exceptional interpersonal skills - confident in handling inquiries and resolving issues effectively.Experience managing sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.Thorough understanding of trust and individual taxation, with an emphasis on compliance and risk.
