Vice President - Product Control (Fintech) - £70,000-£100,000 + Bonus & Benefits- Central London (Hybrid)- ACA/ACCA Qualified- Financial Services

I'm currently partnering with an exciting, high growth client of mine within the FinTech space on the recruitment of a Product Control Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

My client is a real industry disruptor in the FinTech space and is seen as one of the most exciting and high growth organisations globally within this space.

The key responsibilities for this Vice President - Product Control (Fintech) role include:

  • Design, develop, implement, and document comprehensive accounting and reconciliation processes for trading activities, ensuring efficient operations and robust controls.
  • Oversee a team of product control specialists
  • Drive the balance sheet substantiation processes within the organisation
  • Business partner across a wide range of key stakeholders
  • Drive accounting and balance sheet substantiation process improvements
  • Help to drive new internal controls processes and help to implement a robust controls culture and framework
  • Collaborate effectively with Finance, Treasury, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and implement comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Experience with complex, multi-system finance implementation projects is an advantage.
  • Take ownership of the adoption and integration of accounting and controls for new product development initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this Vice President - Product Control (Fintech) role should have the following experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/ICAEW/CPA Fully Qualified with at least 7 years of post qualified experience
  • Ideally come from a Top 6 Accounting Firm background focusing on Financial Services/ Payments/ Banking/ FinTech sector clients
  • Strong post-practice experience within a senior Product Control focused role
  • Strong exposure to balance sheet substantiation work within an FS sector
  • High level of exposure to IFRS 15 Standards
  • Proven track record of partnering with key stakeholders
  • Proven experience in driving change and transformation
