Workday Finance Senior Manager

Oliver James are currently supporting a key consultancy client of ours to augment their UK Workday Finance Practice.We are seeking 3x Workday Fins Senior Managers, to be responsible for leading and delivering client programmes as well as supporting roadmap strategy and decision making. You will also assist in building teams from the ground up to further drive change and value-add into the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the implementation / optimisation of Workday Financials modules within client business processes.
  • Manage a team of consultants and analysts, guiding them in the strategic direction and execution of project deliverables.
  • Develop robust change management strategies that align with client objectives and foster technology adoption.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring consistent satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across client organisations to assess potential impacts of system changes, and design engagement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Provide expert advice and insights into financial management processes, leveraging Workday technologies to enhance business performance.
  • Assess client needs, design, and implement customized management solutions that align with business goals.
  • Lead teams in strategic planning sessions and managing project deliverables.
  • Ensure that all project outcomes meet client expectations and industry standards.

Key Skills:

  • Profound knowledge and working experience with Workday Financials and its suite of applications.
  • Pre-sales experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to run projects through the entire lifecycle with minimal support.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing diverse teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of finance operations and their integration with technology.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
  • Adept in strategic planning and change management in complex environments.
