Are you an Audit & Accounts Senior or Supervisor / Assistant Manager, looking to upgrade to a larger firm and work with interesting Media, Film, TV & Creative clients? Or are you from a large firm background in an audit based role and looking for a firm where you can excel in audit and operate at Supervisor or Assistant Manager level? Are you either recently ACA or ACCA qualified or have up to 3 years PQE, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial West End based accountancy practice based in an easily accessible location? Are you looking to work for a medium size firm which is one of the main firms in London that works with high profile Media, Entertainment, Film & TV clients (both corporate and personal)? Are you looking for a role which will be mixed 50% audit, and the remainder of your time split between statutory accounts, tax and advisory based projects? If so, this growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit & Accounts Supervisor due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients (including a mixture of corporate clients and individuals), reporting directly to Manager and Partner level, liaising directly with all clients, leading and managing audits from start to finish, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish under both FRS 102 and FRS 105, corporation tax returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as Personal tax returns, VAT returns, various reports, analysis and business management assignments, staff management duties and reviewing work. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. The role will be a mixture of hands on for larger and more complex assignments (mainly corporate clients) and reviewing for smaller jobs (mainly personal clients). You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to a higher level in a short space of time. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with creative, media and Film & TV clients is essential.

To be considered for this new role (November 2024) you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly up to date audit experience, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish (especially for FRS 102 clients), tax returns (ideally both corporation tax and personal tax) and reviewing work. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a larger firm or you will already be working for a large practice in an audit bias role and are looking to work in a more friendly firm in a mixed role with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. The firm offers hybrid working 4 days in the office and 1 day from home plus flexi start / finish times. The office atmosphere is casual, relaxed and friendly.

This growing accountancy firm with 80 staff has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. The firm has a real family feel, with a very low staff turnover and staff always have successful long term careers at the firm. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from a wide range of creative industries. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality Audit & Accounts Senior or Supervisor from a practice background to join a good quality, niche and modern accountancy firm based in a West End location and carry out a high profile varied role with great variety and genuine progression to full Manager grade on offer.
