The City and Capital Recruitment team are currently representing a highly respected & fast growing short term property finance lender who specialises in Bridging. They have retained our services in order to appoint an ambitious individual to join their Underwriting Team as a Case Manager

Our Client is currently in the next phase of their expansion, after recently moving to a new office based in London. Therefore this is an opportunity to join at an exciting time where excellent performance in this role will prompt opportunities for you to propel your own earnings & career standing forward quickly within.

This role offers hybrid working with 2 days WFH, and you will work to support the underwriting department as they manage loans from application through to completion. Within the role you will assist with administrative duties to ensure that important documentation, reports and loan information are updated and distributed to the relevant parties, such as borrowers, clients and the lenders senior management team.

Duties include (but may not be limited to):

路 Managing a pipeline of cases pro-actively to ensure swift completion of applications

路 Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate responses to telephone calls/enquiries or correspondence from clients, lenders, or conveyancers

路 Running various security and KYC checks on borrowers

路 Understanding Lending Policy and flagging any potential issues to assist underwriters with their assessments and approvals

路 Reviewing application forms, loan documentation, credit reports, valuation reports, bank statements and land registry documentation

路 Dealing with queries from introducers direct clients and third parties whilst keeping them up to date with the progress of their application whilst delivering excellent service throughout

路 Obtaining and chasing quotes from third parties including but not limited to valuers, solicitors, and quantity surveyors

路 Preparation of offer documentation including ESIS and Facility Letters

路 Attending and contributing to internal team meetings

路 Organising and maintaining internal digital filing systems

路 Accurate Data entry and continual updating of internal CRM systems

路 Proactively identify process improvements/issues before they impact service

路 Work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team and wider stakeholders of the business

路 Manage the handover of the loan once complete to the servicing team

路 To Abide all risk, compliance and financial crime related policies, procedures and reporting obligations

Due to the above the ideal individual for this role will be keen to forge a long and successful career within financial services. Previous experience of Case management is required. This role would also be suitable for an individual looking to progress into an underwriting position.

You will be highly proactive in your working style and will enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You are likely to be analytical with an excellent attention to detail, quick to spot a potential issue arising, or an opportunity that can be capitalised upon.

Our client is looking to pay c拢35k - 拢40k for the ideal candidate which will be complemented with access to the lenders annual bonus scheme and benefits package.
