We are recruiting for one of London's largest and most prestigious whole of market, independent Mortgage & Protection Brokers.

As a highly respected name in the market, they provide mortgage/protection advice and complementary products to individuals/employees within major FTSE250 corporations.

With a reputation built on trust and outstanding service they have continued to grow year on year, and as such are currently seeking a personable Client Services Consultant to join their organisation.

The Position:

As Client Services Consultant you’ll be responsible for communicating with both existing and new clients, informing them of additional products/services available alongside their mortgage and scheduling appointments with the relevant specialist advisers.

You will report directly to the Client Services Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Finplan/Bluecoat records with up to date tracking and monitoring at each stage of the appointment booking process.

  • Liaising with clients, mortgage brokers and protection advisers ensuring all are contacted in the necessary time frame.

  • Organising diaries, speaking to the clients to arrange meetings with the specialist services team, setting up the diary entry and following up when needed.

  • Providing personalised responses to clients via phone and over email.

  • Working to clear SLAs and KPIs as set out by management to ensure an efficient level of productivity

To be a successful Client Services Consultant, you’ll need to be highly organised, goal orientated and have a solid understanding of the sales/appointment setting process.

Key requirements:

  • Significant experience of providing a superior level of customer service over the phone (ideally within the mortgage/protection industry)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional time management & prioritisation skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach

  • Highly competent in using a wide range of IT software and industry applications (Previous experience of Bluecoat/Finplan is an advantage but not essential as training will be given)

  • Results orientated with a commitment to continued professional development
